The First Day
First steps
Section titled “First steps”Well. It’s Minecraft. What do you expect? PUNCH THE TREE AND MAKE A CRAFTING TABLE!
In the Starting Agriculture quest, you can claim some food after obtaining any seed. That won’t last long, so it will be best to start a farm, kill some animals or find some villages for some Carrots or Bread (Wheat for Bread won’t cut it here).
Torches?
Section titled “Torches?”Torches can be made using Sticks on a Campfire.
Your first tools
Section titled “Your first tools”Unlike a regular vanilla experience, in this pack, you can’t make Wooden Tools. You’ll have to start with Flint Tools. You can get Flint from Gravel. 3x Gravel pieces in a Crafting Grid will give you one Flint. Now, you’ll notice you also need Straw for the tools. You get Straw by breaking Grass with a Flint Knife.
Some info on the Flint tools
Section titled “Some info on the Flint tools”They have more Durability then the Wooden Tools - 98 to be precise. They have the speed of Stone tools. The Pickaxe has a strange harvest level. It will be able to mine stones and:
- Copper ore
- Tin ore
- Zinc ore
- Lapis Lazuli ore
- Lead ore
No Coal. You’ll have to make Charcoal with a Charcoal Pit.
Bronze Tools
Section titled “Bronze Tools”These are the next tools you’ll use after the Flint ones. You’ll need Bronze Ingots to make them. Since there are no Furnaces yet, you’ll get them with an Ore Kiln. They’ll be more durable - 125 to be precise. The Pickaxe’s harvest level:
- Copper ore
- Tin ore
- Zinc ore
- Lapis Lazuli ore
- Lead ore
- Iron ore
- Silver ore
- Gold ore
- Redstone ore
Yep. Still no Coal. Don’t worry, you’ll get to it.
Now, let’s see.. you have the food.. the tools.. Yeah, that should be it. Ok, ok. Here’s the last thing.

Section titled “Storage”Unfortunately, there won’t be any Chests for a while. Unless you decide to use the ones present in dungeons/structures. Here are your first storage options:
